Sticky Ball Build Up! - GMTK Game Jam
A simple connect 3 with a sticky and tricky twist!
Disclaimer: This game is not complete, but I probably will continue to work on it after the jam is over. The plan is to make it into a defend the player using the balls, but you also have to connect the balls in a certain way to earn points.
Use your mouse to point the player circle in the direction needed to pick up the circles.

Sticky balls remind me of World of goo,
Would be awesome to have some goals :-)
I know you didn't had time to test some gameplay, I hope you will, give us your ideas.
If the balls touch the edge os the screen it could be a gameover for example.
It would be a bit weird also because of the HD (1920x1080) screens ratio. So maybe the format could be 1x1 square.
Like at 360 Tetris kind of game ?

it appears that it was intended to be a match 3 colored balls game, that they just ran out of time with. Could be awesome.

Good base! It is very satisfying to build up a large mass of balls. Excited to see what you add to make a gameplay loop out of it!
